This pattern is so fun, I’ve made it twice so far. The first time I made it in a butter yellow linen and wore it to my brother’s wedding, and the second I made the shorts version in a flowery Ankara fabric. Both are lovely, I’m surprised I haven’t seen this one around Instagram more.

FINALLY! I’ve been searching for an elastic waist trouser that looks elevated enough to wear to work (aka not like pajamas) and this totally does the trick. I’ve worked up my toile/lounge pair and found it very true to size and easy to construct. The instructions were also clear and easy to follow. Will definitely be making more!.

I brought this pattern as a fairly new sewer, the instructions were great and really easy to follow and I was able to make the skirt fairly quickly!

I used a brocade fabric to make a lovely evening wear skirt and I’ll be making the pattern again in a more summary fabric for wearing to work. It’s super flattering because of the waist band too!

Also possibly the best bit about this pattern is the lovely big pockets!

Suzie is an amazing teacher and showed me how to use my new sewing machine . My last one was bought in 1984! Now i know I was was wrongly threading the bobbin , wrongly loading the bobbin… Also re learnt how to do zippers , button holes etc… was amazing – no more curtains for me .. am doing a dress next. I haven’t done anything more complicated since 1989 – before I did sofa covers, dresses , suits, lined jackets etc. I had lost my mojo re sewing …. Thank you Suzie for all your help xxx

What a lovely project! I enjoyed the process soo much that I made it in just over a day! I have basic sewing skills but haven’t made anything in a while and have never done ruffles before! The instructions were understandable, and reading them once through before starting helped loads! As did labelling the pieces with front, back, etc.

The final garment has come out better than I could imagine! I used a structured wool, so can’t wait to make another out of lighter cotton! I also was able to use an overlocker, which elevates the final jacket 🙂

We had such an amazing and informative bespoke session with Suzie today, learning how to make dog bandanas. Suzie made us feel at ease and we learnt so much in the time we had. We can’t wait for our next session, thank you!!

Love these reusable pads. The colour is such a nice shade of pink, very soft and the perfect addition to my washbag. Comes as a pack of 7. Definitely would recommend.

Love this scrunchie! Delivery was super fast and the product is the perfect chunky scrunchie, an easy statement accessory for your hair. Love the colour choice too. Would recommend
