Long sleeve bamboo and organic cotton top in lilac

Our long sleeve bamboo and organic cotton top in lilac is one of the softest tops that we sell- it will change your life. We make it from a sustainable fabric that is lightweight, breathable and warm. The bamboo element naturally wicks moisture away from the skin and it does not hold onto smells. The top is minimal and easily layerable, with a long body. It has raw edges on the cuffs and the bottom hem, resulting in a gentle roll of the fabric for a minimal look.

We hand-dye and make each top in our workshop in Nottingham, England. Each item is made-to-order, minimising fabric wastage.

This top is awesome paired with our organic cotton denim jacket. 

MATERIAL

We make our long sleeve top from fabric containing 46% Bamboo, 46% Organic Cotton and 8% Elastane.

SUSTAINABLE

Bamboo is a fast-growing plant and does not need artificial fertilisers, pesticides or large quantities of water. Likewise, farmers grow organic cotton using rain water and do not rely on artificial fertilisers or pesticides. Moreover, both bamboo and organic cotton are biodegradable.

Our bamboo and organic cotton fabric comes from a textile company, called Kadeks, based in Izmir, Turkey. This company produces sustainable textiles and they care about supporting sustainable textile projects. Kadeks involve themselves in every step of the supply chain starting from cotton, to yarn, to fabric and to non-garment textile goods. They are also certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), meaning that: they meet the standards to be classified as ‘organic’; they do not use toxic substances or dyes during manufacturing; and they produce the fabric in a mill that enforces strict social and environmental standards, treating their employees and the earth with respect.

This fabric is made from OEKO-TEX standard 100 certified yarn as being free from harmful chemicals. In addition, the labels we use are made from recycled fabric that is also OEKO-TEX standard 100 certified. We also package our products in recycled paper.

WASH CARE

Hand wash or machine wash at 30 degrees C. Drip dry and iron on medium heat. Do not bleach.

To waste less water, energy and to make your clothes last longer:

-wash at cooler temperatures;
-wash your clothes less often;
-and don’t tumble dry.
