Lyocell blouse in bottle green

We make our Lyocell blouse in bottle green from a 100% woven lyocell fabric. The blouse has bows that tie at the front, with a collar stand finish. The sleeves are short with ruffles that match the ruffles across the chest and back of the blouse. It is a comfortable and oversized statement blouse that can be paired with our matching lyocell elasticated trousers in bottle green.

We hand make each blouse in our workshop in Nottingham, England. Each item is made-to-order, minimising fabric wastage.

SUSTAINABLE

Lyocell fabric is generally considered to be a more sustainable textile option compared to many other fabrics. Lyocell is a type of rayon made from wood pulp, typically from eucalyptus trees, which are fast-growing and require less water and pesticides than other crops like cotton. One of the main reasons lyocell is considered sustainable is because the manufacturing process uses a closed-loop system, which means that the solvents used to dissolve the wood pulp are reused and recycled, rather than being released as waste into the environment. This closed-loop process makes lyocell production less resource-intensive and less polluting than other methods of producing rayon or similar fabrics. Lyocell is also known for its softness, durability, and breathability, and it can be produced without the use of harmful chemicals or toxic dyes. Moreover, because it is a natural fibre, it can biodegrade.

The labels we use are made from recycled fabric that is OEKO-TEX standard 100 certified. We also package the product in recycled paper.

WASH CARE

Hand or machine washed at 30 degrees C. Drip dry and iron on medium heat. Do not bleach.

To waste less water, energy and to make your clothes last longer:

-wash at cooler temperatures;
-wash your clothes less often;
-and don’t tumble dry.
