Product Details
Our pink hand painted jacket is a gorgeous and bold addition to your wardrobe. Designed with playfulness and expression, it works really well in a capsule wardrobe by bringing each outfit a statement. We make this jacket from an organic cotton and hemp twill. We hand dye and paint each pattern piece before sewing it together.
The jacket has a simple collar and a tie at the front. The waist and elbow are gathered to add fullness and body.
We hand make each jacket in our workshop in Nottingham, England. Each item is made-to-order, minimising fabric wastage.

MATERIAL
Certified organic cotton and hemp twill.
SUSTAINABLE
Organic cotton is more sustainable than regular cotton because the process is based on long-term thinking. Organic cotton farming does not use synthetic insecticides, fungicides or fertilisers. Healthy soil is instead maintained through crop rotation. This prevents the loss of nutrients into water bodies and avoids both water pollution and the need for artificial fertilisers. Organic cotton farming also uses significantly less water than ordinary cotton, whereby farmers rely mainly on rainwater. Find out more about organic farming at the Textile Exchange!
Hemp is a plant fiber from the stems of the Cannabis plant and has one of the lowest impacts on the environment. This is because the hemp crop requires little water to grow and improves soil health in a similar way as organic cotton, above. Hemp is also biodegradable and one of the stronger textile fabrics. Moreover, hemp fabric is insulating, anti-bacterial and UV-resistant.
The labels we use are made from recycled fabric that is OEKO-TEX standard 100 certified. We also package the product in recycled paper.

WASH CARE
Hand wash is preferred but this jacket can also be machine washed at 30 degrees C. Drip dry and iron on medium heat. Do not bleach.
To waste less water, energy and to make your clothes last longer:
-wash at cooler temperatures;
-wash your clothes less often;
-and don’t tumble dry.
Size & fit
We offer multiple sizes. The jacket has an oversized style; the model in the image is size 8 and is wearing size 8.
